I had a head cold a few weeks ago and have(had) this lingering cough.
My suspicion was exactly this. It felt slightly irritated, particularly under certain circumstances (like cold air). No wheezing, no congestion. Just slightly irritated.
Nothing else felt worrisome about it, other than its persistence, and that I’m waiting on a call for Pulmonary AVM surgery for next month.
My thought was to speak with my PCP if it persisted once I got the call.

That cough is now just about gone.
